10 Months Old!

Yep, another month, another picture! We are ten months old! Sadie is crawling all over the place, pulling up on everything and talking away! She now has 4 teeth. She is doing great in her helmet and after wearing it only 3 weeks, we can already tell a difference. Hollis is getting around, but it isn't really graceful. She is starting to realize that Sadie can access things much faster! Hollis is also talking away and says "baby" a lot...does it mean anything?? Who knows! Hollis still does not have any teeth!!

After 10 months, Hollis knows the drill! In addition to smiling for the camera, she blinks so the flash doesn't hurt her little eyes!

We are eating real food these days, turkey, ravioli, yogurt and grilled cheese are some of our favorites! Though Sadie is still bigger, Hollis seems to have the bigger appetite.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was really fun. We started out the morning hanging out on our porch with the play area our daddy set up outside, then we took mommy out to brunch! We went to the park in the afternoon and were good girls for mommy all day!!

We ate a lot of cookies (aka teething buscuits) at brunch and it keep us very happy!

Playing in the Yard

Sadie has fun playing with some neighborhood "big girls" in the yard, while Hollis enjoys watching from the sideline on her daddy's lap!

We had a sleepover!

Since we are such big girls, we decided it was time for a sleepover! We slept at Emily and Nikki's house with Aunt Caryn and Uncle Adam. We had so much fun!

...we ate dinner and Uncle Adam thought it would be funny to feed Joey with our spoon (we thought it was kind of gross)...

We missed our mommy and daddy the next morning, but we knew we were in good hands!

Book Worms

We both really love books these days...in fact, we can read them to ourselves! They are sometimes upside down or backwards when we read them and no one else can understand what we are saying, but we sure think they are great!!

Put Me in Coach

After months of physical therapy, we decided the next step in correcting Sadie's torticollis and plagiocephaly (basically her position in utero caused her to have a tight neck muscle that we are trying to loosen, but given the tight muscle she favors one side leading to a misshaped head) was to have her wear a helmet. She wears it 23 hours a day, only taking it off in the bath and pool.

They have told us she will probably wear it about 3 months, so we are hoping by her birthday it will off! She is totally unbothered by it, but as it gets warmer outside, she is going to get really hot...so hopefully it will be off by the time August comes.

Hey Coach Saban, I have a ball and a helmet...I am ready to go!

Last night was the first night sleeping in it, they told us to expect her to wake several times and after she has had it on about 8 hours, we could take it off. Sadie being the rockstar that she is didn't even notice and slept her normal 12 + hours.

M: "That looks really fun, can I have one?"

S: "Yes, Madeline, I have the coolest new toy in playgroup and this one I am not sharing, even with Hollis."

H: "Can you please take another picture of me?"

So we did...

Sadie does not let the helmet stop her from getting into everything. Here she explains to Phoebe how if you spin this, the lights and music come on...wow!

Having a Blast at the Beach

We got home from the beach today...we had so much fun that we stayed an extra day. Between swimming, playing on the beach, hanging out with mimi and poppy and strolling around town, we had a blast!! We can't wait to go back with Daddy in June!

Fun at Rosemary Beach

We are loving Rosemary Beach...we spent part of the day yesterday in our pool and part of the day discovering the sand! Check out our videos to see us in action!

NINE MONTHS OLD!!

Hard to believe, but we are nine months old...we get officially weighed tomorrow but our mommy guesses we are about 19 and 17 lbs!!

Everyone has fun in Music Class!

We started music class when were about 4 months old...each week we have more fun! We play intruments, get to sing with tigers, bounce balls and hang out with our friends!!

I want that Blackberry!

Click on the video below to see Sadie crawl for the very first time...that was a couple of weeks ago and she has definitely gotten better. Her favorite things to crawl after - the remotes and phones (she is not particular as far as cell phones, cordless phones or blackberrys!)

Sadie has two teeth! Hollis does a lot of teething, none have come through though!

Baby Einstein in Action

Though we don't watch a lot of videos, when we do - WE LOVE THEM!! If other mommies and daddies out there don't think they work or that their baby would be interested - they are wrong!

Learning to Swim

To gear up for summer, we are taking swimming lessons with our Mommy and Daddy. We haven't quite mastered the backstroke yet, but we are having fun getting used to being in the pool.


We have cute cover-ups to wear to keep us warm!


Too bad we can't wear the cover-ups in the pool, Hollis shakes so much, she wears a "surf" shirt to help keep her warm!
