14 Months Old

We are such big girls at 14 months. We are both walking (though we would rather crawl) and talking up a storm. Some of the words we say often are "baby", "ball", "bye-bye", "hi", "uh-oh", "dog", "mama" and "dada" - Sadie can also say "night night" and Hollis also says "bow". One of our favorite things to do is to point at each other (and any other small person for that matter) and say "baby".

Sadie has a mouth full of teeth with her 9th one coming in right now...Hollis is working on number 4 and 5. We are very well rounded and go to gym class and music class. We love music class and in our gym class we really just like bouncing on the trampoline.

We both love "Wheels on the Bus" - Sadie is demonstrating "round and round"...

Dreamland Girls...

Apparently the girls love dreamland ribs...at lunch today while Mommy and Daddy were eating them and the girls were eating something else, they both reached out like they wanted to try. With spicy sauce and everything, the girls ate them up...their Boo (their grandfather) will be so proud!

Game Day Gear

The girls sported their game day attire (thanks to Aunt Angel) on Saturday. Apparently, the dresses were good luck...which is great news since it looks like they will be able to wear them for more than this season.

Sadie tries to see how many push toys she can use at one time!

Tackle Practice

Cruisin' in the Driveway

One of our newest favorite activities is walking around in the driveway, we can literally spend an hour going back and forth...

Friendly Sadie waves hello to one of the neighbors..

Hollis takes a break from her cruisin' to check some emails...

Happy New Year

Today was Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year...we got all dressed up because we had some family and friends over for dinner.

Sadie is very excited about the new year...and also excited to eat apples and honey!

Hollis wonder why she has to wear a bow...

We were so excited when we heard friends were coming, we waited by the window!

Night Night

We love having our daddy put us to bed - he reads us stories and sings songs before we have to go to sleep...

Long Walk

Wow...our mommy took us on a long walk and then took us grocery shopping...we were so pooped that we passed out in our stroller.

Backyard Fun

How fun...some days instead of going to the neighborhood pool, we just swim in our backyard. Though it isn't as "social" it is just as much fun...and we don't have to put on bathing suits!

Lime Pop

Hollis loves popsicles...but was a little nervous about trying the green one for the first time...

Ok, I am almost ready to put it in my mouth...

...YIKES - that is tart!!!
