Happy New Year

Today was Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year...we got all dressed up because we had some family and friends over for dinner.




Sadie is very excited about the new year...and also excited to eat apples and honey!

We were so excited when we heard friends were coming, we waited by the window!

Night Night

We love having our daddy put us to bed - he reads us stories and sings songs before we have to go to sleep...

Long Walk

Wow...our mommy took us on a long walk and then took us grocery shopping...we were so pooped that we passed out in our stroller.

Backyard Fun

How fun...some days instead of going to the neighborhood pool, we just swim in our backyard. Though it isn't as "social" it is just as much fun...and we don't have to put on bathing suits!

Lime Pop

Hollis loves popsicles...but was a little nervous about trying the green one for the first time...

13 Months Old!

We are 13 months old! When it was just about time for dinner and pictures, a big storm came through our neighborhood and our power went out- so our 13 month picture was done without our fancy sign!


Since the power was out, we got to eat a formal dinner in our dining room. Luckily, the dining room has big windows that gave us light so we could see our burgers and bananas!

At playgroup yesterday, all the girls really loved our ball pit! You can see how much fun we had. Sadie also thought it would be very funny to be buried in the balls.

Sadie's New Moves

Mommy couldn't figure out how to rotate the movie...but you can still get the point!

Daddy's Hats

For some reason, we thinking putting our our daddy's hats is really funny. We like to pull them over our eyes and play peek-a-boo!

Straight Sadie

I know many of you look at these pictures of Sadie and think how adorable that smile is, how cute all her teeth are and can see how happy she is...but what her mommy sees is a STRAIGHT NECK!! She has come such a long way in her 9+ months of therapy! We are very proud of her!

She is holding her head up straight most of the time, she tilts a little when she is tired or fussy, but for the most part, you wouldn't even know she has torticollis! Yeah! Her face is getting more symetric and the surgeon told us "he wouldn't touch her!" Yeah, again!

Surf's Up!

It took Mommy all summer to realize the best way to protect us from sunburn was to have us wear shirts with built in SPF! For some reason, it was impossible to find girl shirts - so we got the boy versions! Thanks goodness we look good in blue!

Pigtails for Hollis

Hollis has such long hair she can wear little, tiny pig tails!! Unlike bows, that she constantly pulls out, she doesn't seem to mind these!

Madeline's Birthday at My Gym

Our friend Madeline's first birthday was at My Gym - we had a blast! There were all sorts of things to crawl in and around including a trampoline and a ball pit! Our favorite activity was the zip line!!
